Earlier this week, I got my hands on a Robb Vices box that came with a $100 'gift card' for ArtStar. But let me tell you, it turned out to be a total bait-and-switch. Once folks started trying to use those cards, ArtStar switched up the terms and jacked up the prices on their art pieces to make sure people couldn’t use the 'gift card' without coughing up extra cash.

I’ve seen multiple sources back this up, and a quick look at cached Google results confirms it: ArtStar hiked the prices on all $100 art pieces to $150 just yesterday. It really feels like a sneaky move to keep people from using the gift cards they received.

Their site claims they’ve been 'Killing it with customer service since 2011.' But honestly, how do you square that with what they’re doing?
